Everyone in the industry has or will at some point get a call from a panicked homeowner with new windows stating, “My windows are failing! I have water on the glass or even worse yet, frost. Ahhhh. Send someone here right away.”
Explaining to this homeowner that the issue occurring is condensation, an environment management issue, and not defective windows can be difficult.
A hygrometer is the perfect educational tool to understanding — and most importantly proving — when a condensation issue is present in a home.
