Single point gearbox is not interchangeable with multipoint gearbox. The cover may look the same but internal components are different.  Material: Stainless Steel (sliver). Brass color no longer manufactured - only comes in stainless steel for both the gear box and the extension. See features and benefits picture.  Style: Roller Top Extension ONLY Size we stock: (see chart for full details and measurements):  6-8 = Top Extension Length 1019mm / 40.11in Retro = Top Extension Length 1031mm / 40.59in 6-10 = Top Extension Length 1078mm / 42.44in 8-0 = Top Extension Length 1407mm / 55.39in Comes with: Top extension ONLY (Bottom Extension with Gearbox SOLD separately see part number 810R for bottom extension with gear box)  The Hoppe #810R/820R Roller style is the direct replacement for old FUHR Roller Multi point that was on Hurd and other door manufactures – no modification is needed when changing to the Hoppe #810 - you need to order both top extension 820 and lower extension with great box 810 to use as a replacement with old FUHR. The only difference is some of the FUHR multi point had an automatic fire to engage the multi point, the Hoppe does not. So with the Hoppe to engage the multi point you close the door then lift up on the door handle then throw the dead bolt to lock. Built 1988 thru 1994Thresholds will not fit tight end to end as there needs to be a small gap on both sides for water weep purposes. - Old weep system threshold.Size:2-6 Size = Threshold is 27 7/8 Inch Long2-8 Size = Threshold is 29 7/8 Inch Long3-0 Size = Threshold is 27 7/8 Inch Long INSTRUCTIONS FOR P#837 To remove old threshold: Use a #3 Philips bit on your drill - to unscrew the screws on the top of the old oak threshold all the way. Once screws are completely removed the old threshold will pull up. There are T nuts in a T track underneath the threshold that the screws screw into. You can reuse the old T nuts or replace the T nuts in the T track with the new T nuts provided with the new threshold To replace the T nuts – you will remove the old T nuts by sliding them out of the track – there should be a space at one of the ends of the track for you to do this. Take new T nuts and slide them into the track through the same space at one of the ends of the T track. Replace with new threshold by aligning the T nuts to the screws in the threshold. Screw in all screws into the T nuts below – be careful not to over tighten – and the screws are used to adjust the threshold as well. Adjusting the Threshold: Once the threshold is installed and all screws are screwed into the T nuts - the threshold can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the screws.
