It means the lever return spring inside the mortise lock  is either broken or stretched, and you will need to replace the multi point inside the door panel.  Products Sold Separately: Multipoint / Single Point Locking Systems Gear Box are sold separately Additional Notes: Hoppe #S4200AC can be used  interchangeably to replace Roto style 56-111BRS which is now obsolete (Roto S 623 B 24 is stamped on the single point gear box).
